The most peculia things happen to cows, recently in cornwall a cow has got its head stuck in one of the many commercial washing machines drums.

Young cows do tend to sometimes get a bit curious and decide to investigate what items are. A member of the public spotted the cow in agony and reported it to the RSPCA. Authorities will now be further cracking down on people that are fly tipping as it is no longer just a danger to the environment but is now also a danger to cows!

Alot of people have started to go for the all in one washing machines and tumble dryers. This is maybe because with the new fitted kitchens getting cheaper and cheaper people do not want to clutter the nice design with big clunky washing machines and tumble dryer so they just get the best out of both worlds with just one version.

But are these actually as reliable as two separate ones? The answer unfortunatley is no, everyday I see the 2in1s failing because companies have still not been able to master the art of combining both technologies with one releasing water and then asking your machine to totally discard that and dry the clothes. Its just like chucking your hairdryer into the bath and then asking it to work, there is just no way that this will happen. Once they find a solution I am sure the launderettes and dry cleaners will take advantage of the new commercial laundry equipment.

So both pieces of equipment do the same sort of thing, so can one be used as an alternative to another, well lets take a closer look. Of course we know that a washing machine cannot be used as an alternative for your plates or cups because of the fact that they will probably all end up breaking. But a good question is can your dishwasher wash your clothes and get all of the stains out of them? Well here I have tested it:

Basically before I went ahead with this experiment I went out and purchased one of the strongest forms of detergent. I then went and grabbed one of my not so clean tops and placed it into a dishwasher. Well basically with my dishwasher equipment you can set the time on how long you would like it to run for, so I set it for 20 minutes and when it finished I released it, guess what? It had totally strunk I don’t know if it was to do with the material or the actual dishwasher itself, but I can assure you that I will not be using this technique again.
