I have been a poker player for years and to be honest I did lose alot. My wife and family abandoned me and I ended up losing my job.

Thinking back I actually think that I was not too much of a good player that is why I lost so much. When my friend told me about rakeback I thought to myself what sort of rubbish is this? I just could not be bothered, but that was another mistake I made.

When I started actually playing I realised that I was getting a lot of the money I lost back and do you know what? I started actually winning. I think the reason was because I was no longer worried about losing and instead played a better game.

Korean police authorities have finally busted a gambling ring that was based in Manila. The ring allegedly aired web coverage of its casino in the area to Koreans and potentially earnt more than 100 billion dollars.

Four suspects were held over the scenario and charged for illegal gambling, they basically allowed Korean users to bet on games that were webcast in real time.

The ringleaders name, who is said to be known as only Lee, opened a casino last year. From the broadcast he exchanged Korean online gamblers money into cyber chips and then let them make bets while watching it all on live cam.

They were said to be featuring games such as rakeback poker, roulette and blackjack.

Over 3 million information records of online poker players have been exposed. Records such as the players hands, historical poker games and game style behaviour. It has been made public and any person can look through it and search it all by downloading poker shark radar freeware software.

This is a terrible breach of users privacy and I do feel that people should be vary wary to even download this sort of software, not only because of the spyware it may have but just to stop the users from developing it further. The whole point of poker is to analyse your competition and try to judge there playing techniques. If you have all that information infront of you then what is the point of playing?

There has been quite a bit going on lately, so I figured it would be easier to just do a summary post of all the things.

Jennicide Is Off For Jury Duty
Jennifer Leigh (aka Jennicide) had to leave the WSOP early this year to attend jury duty.

In her blog she recently wrote:
“I have been having a chain of nightmares of being sequestered to a long murder trial, in which I feel sorry for the 11 other jurors that would have to be witness to my bantering and childlike snootiness for the terrible circumstances.

I need to be in Las Vegas during these times! Yet, I am stuck in Delaware! I have to wake up at an unreasonable hour too! Reporting to the courthouse at 8:30 a.m.?!”

Ernest “The Murderer” Scherer Playing WSOP Events
Ok, we made the nickname up, but Gambling911 released an article that Sherer is the main suspect for the murder of his parents.

    Hookers Get Rolled
Pauly posted a great story about how some poker players rolled some hookers with tournament chips…

“Benjo told me a hilarious story about how Bellagio hookers were trying to cash tournament chips at the cage.
Apparently, a couple of horny and angle-shooting poker players removed $1,000 denomination tournament chips out of play. They used those chips to pay off hookers, who were not very bright and accepted the chips in return for sexual favors. Of course they did not read the fine print on the chips where it said it’s not legal tender and only a tournament chip.

Horny Poker Players 1, Dumb Hookers 0.”
